The mountain is home to deer, bobcat, black bear, coyote and all the small creatures. Over 1000
acres has been declared forever wild.
The Ashokan Reservoir in all its splendor is nearby, as is the best fishing around in the Esopus
Creek.

Woodstock, Historic Kingston, tubing on the creek, Belleayre and Hunter Mountain music and ski festivals, antique shops, country flea markets, auctions and Hudson River Cruises are only a half hour to forty-five minutes away. |
The swimming is cool in a lake at Wilson State Park, our town pool or a few secret spots we know
about. Biking is great and if you are a hiker, there are easy climbs and more difficult trails.
In the fall the color changing is a sight to see, you can pick apples and pumpkins or just breathe
the crisp Catskill air. And of course safe hunters are always welcome. If you want to watch the birds,
dream away on our deck or porch, and enjoy the music of the woods then Dream House is
for you.
Some things you should know about Dream House

Minimum two night stay during peak season and holiday weekends.We do have friendly pets, dogs and a cat, not allowed in the bed rooms, but they do live at Dream House. |
A deposit of one half is required to hold your reservation; the balance is due on arrival.
Your deposit will be refunded or applied to another date if you cancel fourteen days
prior to your reservation date. If you cancel after the fourteen day period, and we cannot
book the room, you will be charged for one night. Any questions please call.
If you are arriving on the first night after 10pm, please let us know.

The Dream House is about 20 miles from NYS Thruway exit 19. Take Route 209 (Ellenville) south, about 12 miles, look for Lydys country deli on your right, directly past deli make a right, county rt. 2 (Krumville Rd.) follow this winding road about 8 miles to stop sign (Tettas store), continue on road, sign changes to county rt. 3, to the first right, church on left, make that right Upper Samsonville Rd., about 1/4 mile to T, make left, Haver Rd. follow the road up the mountain to Dream House on the right, driveway is just past the sign. |
